Netscape Devedge Menus, these are the drop-down menus used on this site. They use real links so search engines can follow them. Written by the clever folk at Devedge using CSS and a bit of JavaScript. It is supported by just about all browsers in one way or another. (Please let me know if it doesn't display on your browser.)
I modified it to enable JavaScript disabled browsers to display the menus expanded as an unordered list as shown below. I only have a small menu structure so it doesn't push down the page too far. This is also how the search engine spiders see the menu because they don't run the JavaScript.
